The noble grape varieties of the chateau des landes (80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc) is expressed perfectly on a clay and limestone soil. On the Castle Arnauds, his vineyard is composed entirely of Merlot planted on gravely soil red.
