Pavlidis Estate is situated in the region of Drama, in a narrow valley surrounded by big mountains and close to the Aegean Sea;it has a special microclimate, with cool winds during the night that prolong the ripening period and give the opportunity to berries to reach slowly the optimum maturity level. The aim of Ktima Pavlidis is the production of premium wines, revealing the unique characteristics of our region, a terroir used from ancient times until today for vine cultivation. To fulfill this goal, the Estate has planted 65 hectares of privately-owned vineyards in order to achieve the complete control of the quality of its production. THEMA is a family of wines of Pavlidis, including the white blend of Assyrtiko and Sauvignon Blanc, the red blend of the noble Agiorgitiko and Syrah and a monovarietal rosé of Tempranillo. There are also the mono varietals wines of Assyrtiko, often described as Greece’s best white winegrape, Chardonnay, Syrah and Tempranillo.
