Cascina Giovinale is an estate consisting of a winery and 7 hectares of vineyards in Nizza Monferrato.
The vineyards are located on the San Nicolao hill at 850 ft. above sea level, with a south/southwestern exposure.
It is an historic property, already mentioned in the chronicles of the beginning of the 20th century. Anna and Bruno Ciocca became proprietors in the early eighties setting up a long-term plan to obtain the highest quality in wines that could fully express the territory identity.
This plan was carried out with the great support of Giuliano Noè, a well known wine-making expert and with the help of Piero Roseo, a fond agronomist who takes care of the vineyards.
Cascina Giovinale''s grapes, carefully selected, are used for the production of a restricted number of bottles.
These pleasantly refined wines are approachable and yet complex: they show the fragrance and personality of Barbera wines produced with care and passion in an area of excellence.
