VMV - VIGNERONS DU MONT VENTOUX, the leading winery in the AOC Ventoux area. It federates 220 winegrowers. Its vineyards(1000 hectares/2 500 acres) are established on the southern piedmont of the Mont Ventoux, a classified U.N. biosphere zone. AOC VENTOUX are southern Rhône Valley wines but with their own character and typicity – fruity and peppery for the reds. VMV’s motto: “Bacchus amat colle” – Bacchus, God of wine, loves hills – reminds the best wines come from perched high and sloping vineyards.
VMV’s wines are made up of Grenache Noir, Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan for the red and rosé wines; Clairette, Bourboulenc and Grenache Blanc for the white wines. VMV also produces Vin de Pays wines.
VMV operates its own bottling and bag-in-box filling lines. VMV’s operation is certified ISO 9001-2000. VMV’s brands are marketed in different bottle sizes 750ml, magnum, 500 ml, also 187 ml & 250 ml mini-bottles, and in bag-in-box 3, 5 or 10 litres. VMV also supplies wine bulk wine.
