New family-run winery. We use the best grapes as the basis of a single red wine, coming from Tempranillo, Merlot, Cabernet S.and Grenache, from different clones and stocks. These varieties cover our 15 Has of vineyard. We harvest by hand, in small boxes, to assure the best quality. We believe in blending the wines made from a single harvest. Blending starts with tens of different potential wines created by the use of different varieties, tank sizes, barrels and toasting levels of the French oak barrels that are renewed every three years. A refined task to which our prestigious oenologist, Ignacio de Miguel, contributes with his know-how. Our wines have been awarded with a Great Gold Medal at Brussels 07, Gold Medal Best Spanish Wine in Russia 09, Silver Medal at Decanter 09, Silver Medal at International Wine Challenge 09, Silver Medal Pro Wine Buyers Competition California 08, Silver Medal Premium Select Wine Challenge ProWein Germany 09 and 91 points Wine Enthusiast US 09.
