Viticultural tradition of Skoupil family dates back to 1852 and nowadays the vine grower and wine maker utilizes his experience in wine production in Austria and France.
Planting the vine grapes, Petr Skoupil respects up-to-date ways of vineyard maintenance especially with respect to ecology requirements and reduced crop. The production of the wines of high quality and with strong and clear variety character is supported by lower yields per acre.Wines offered by Petr Skoupil Winery are produced on the basis of specific technologies: in the destemming, selecting and pressing process the grapes are squezeed gently to separate the skin and pulp (wines without tanin), other technology used is controlled fermentation and clarification by flotation. These technologies make possible to produce nice wines with fresh fruity character full of bouquet substances.
