Don Carlos Putruele was born into a family of Italian immigrants. He settled in San Juan de la Frontera in the 1950’s and he went into wine growing. As business was thriving, in 1958 he founded a winery in the Tulúm Valley whose production continues to grow steadily. In the late 80’s he started bringing technological improvements into production in order to achieve Top Quality wines. At present, the Putruele family continues to develop their business by pursuing excellence, encouraging exports and improving high standard products. Our wines spring from our quality grapes, our dedication to wine making and our enjoyment of wine. Our wines are made with great care, high tech enology and the unmistakable characteristics of the San Juan grapes.
