Ireland was torn by injustice and natural disaster. In the years leading up to the Treaty of Limerick in 1691, when The Exiles took the name the Wild Geese believing they would return, many had already been forced from their homes and transported to the Caribbean and Americas to work on plantations.
HOLD FAST
Sent into darkness and exile they did not flinch when faced with this unimaginable horror. Many rebellions were to follow.
Their story and courage has been largely untold until now.
FREEDOM
Determined to win freedom, those that escaped, blazed a trail across the endless blue as liberators and pirates of the Caribbean. Navigating their way across the featureless seas and against all odds their only option being to survive and succeed.

The Wild Geese Golden Rum uses hand-picked parcels of aged rum for a unique, versatile, sweet and complex dark pouring liquid that’s perfect for mixing cocktails.

The Wild Geese Golden Rum comes in a bespoke bottle, with an innovative molded skull motif. The front label is coated in a special varnish that reacts under U.V. light to create a stunning luminous effect. This ensures The Wild Geese Golden Rum will stand out on any back bar, and will maintain a prominent presence in nightclubs and bars.
NOSE
Very clean, with a pronounced and aromatic spice.
TASTE
Soft butterscotch and tropical fruit on the palate.
FINISH
It slowly develops with apricot, light vanilla and cocoa notes, sustaining a powerful, lingering finish with a touch of dried spice. |

The Wild Geese Premium Rum is an intense, bright gold blend of rums, aged for up to eight years. Our Premium Rum is matured in American white oak charred bourbon barrels. The rum from Barbados, Jamaica and Guyana has a clean pronounced nose that hints at its soft, aged Bajan heritage and honeyed aromatic Guyanese and Jamaican pot still character.
The Wild Geese Premium Rum is presented in a luxurious jet black bottle decorated with a chrome finish. This is further enhanced by a bespoke jewelled trinket, designed to capture the epic story of the Irish in the Caribbean.
NOSE
On the nose there are distinct yet light and fresh notes, sage and eucalyptus, in harmony with a strong depth.
TASTE
The palate is an elegant balance of deft sweetness and pronounced alcohol starting with a light vanilla, mango and banana, smoothly developing into the burnished, rich nuttiness of ripe asparagus and herbaceous eucalyptus.
FINISH
Light anise and camphorous ginger come to the front before softening into a long, pleasant, almond and butterscotch finish, carefully holding just long enough to leave a light spicy and floral resonance. |
