Downslope Distilling,is a small producer of craft spirits in Centennial Colorado. Our products currently include three vodkas, four rums and one whiskey. The whiskeys and the rum are distilled in our unique Double Diamond ‘Hookah’ potstill. The vodkas are distilled through a reflux column still and then filtered thru the ‘Lichtenstein”, a very slow filtration system of our own design.
VODKA FROM MAUI CANE
(gluten free)Clean, smooth and with just the slightest toasted sugar hint.
VODKA FROM MALT AND RYE
Very smooth with a slight spicy finish from the rye fraction.
PEPPER VODKA
Infused with New Mexico Red Chilies and Indonesian Black Pepper.
WHITE RUM
From Maui cane and filtered for a dry finishing infinitely mixable rum. Superior in Caiparinha and Mojito or with cane syrup, soda and a twist of lime.
GOLD RUM
From Maui cane but aged in small medium toast American white oak barrels. No caramel, sweetener or body enhancers are employed.
VANILLA RUM
White rum infused with Tahiti and Indonesian vanilla beans for a very limited time for a subtle and complex vanilla aroma. No body enhancers or sweeteners are employed.
WINE BARREL AGED RUM
Cane rum aged exclusively in red wine barrels. Each barrel is labeled with barrel and bottle number. This product is embraced by aficionados of anejo rum and tequila, as well as the cognac crowd.
DOUBLE DIAMOND WHISKEY
A true hybrid whiskey made from British floor malted barley and North American rye. Distilled in our potstill in the manner of Scotch. Aged in wine casks initially and then finished in small medium toast American white oak barrels.
