The
Phillips family's aspirations to produce high quality
estate grown wines was realized at Parri Estate, located
south of Adelaide on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.
The ambition of the winery was to produce wines that
are a unique reflection of the region in which they
are grown.
There
are two very different vineyard sites from which the
wines are produced. First is an 82-acre site at Mt Compass
where most of the wines come from. This site lends itself
to lower alcohol wines with intense fruit and a soft
balanced tannic structure, perfect food wines. And the
more traditional site in McLaren Vale that consists
of 14 acres of vines up to 60 years old.

Lamont
Wines is a family owned, boutique winery, located
in Central Otago, New Zealand and specializing in
Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling. It is situated
on 30 acres in the sub-region of Bendigo, on the site
of a historic gold mining town. Lamont has developed
an uncompromising approach in the pursuit of fruit
quality.
Using innovations and modern practices in the vineyard,
such as the digging of soil pits to carry out a full
soil analysis at different soil horizons. Next, soil
mapping in order to lay the blocks of vines out as
per soil type and not block shape, all very costly,
but imperative to growing the best fruit.

honeyed wheat component, transforming into
a clean minerality, nicely finishes this wine.
